01. What if my kids don't cooperate?
That’s completely normal. I expect it—and plan for it! Some of the best photos come from imperfect moments, and you will be amazed at the memories we are still able to capture. If kids are fussy, we go to plan B and let them run around and play! Then the smiles usually come out.
02. can we bring pets?
Absolutely! Just let me know ahead of time so we can plan.
03. what happens if it rains?
I absolutely understand if you want to reschedule! If you want to play it by ear and wait for the rain to pass, I have done that more times than I can count.
If it's your wedding day, we will get creative in how we capture things and you will still have beautiful memories! I have photographed so many rainy wedding days, and even a -10 degree snowy January wedding day.
04. Do you retouch images?
Yes—natural, timeless editing (blemishes, flyaways) while keeping everyone looking like themselves. I do not slim bodies, overly smooth wrinkles, or correct spray tans.
05. When will we get our photos back?
Regular portrait sessions (family, maternity, senior, newborn, etc) will be returned within 2 weeks. Wedding sneak peeks will be delivered 2-3 days after the wedding, and the full gallery will be delivered within 8 weeks.
06. can we pick our session location?
YES! It is my favorite thing when I get to see the locations that matter to you: a pasture in the middle of nowhere with cows in the background, your home, the lake you spent all summer at with your kids. If you don't have any particular place in mind, then I am happy to suggest some in the Salina area.
